According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Marketing is the process by which companies determine what products or services may be of interest to customers, and the strategy to use in sales, communications and business development.  It is an integrated process through which companies create value for customers and build strong customer relationships in order to capture value from customers in return.

When I started my college education in business, it was to learn the management side of running a business.  As I got farther & farther along in my studies, each subject was hitting on tidbits of marketing.  I then became fascinated with the marketing aspects of the business & catered my degree to include this part of the business module as well.

I am a big fan of retail sales; I love it with a passion.  Because of my passion for retail sales, I then wanted to be in on determining what people’s interest may be for which product or service.  I also wanted to learn the strategies used in sales, how to communicate & build/develop a business.  I have a genuine love for people & a passion to help and work with others.  I like being able to give individuals value for their money. 

Marketing gave me an avenue to help create value and build a strong relationship with my customers.  I then took that interest a little farther to try and incorporate it online in Internet/Network Marketing.  I knew I could apply the same principles, but the strategy would be a little different because the contact with people is pretty much virtual contact. 

In conclusion, the reason I chose Marketing as my vessel of greatness is to be able to have a hand in determining the best products, services, or programs for individuals seeking to buy a product/service or to get involved in an online business.  I wanted to be able to give them a product, service, or program that would be of value to them while building a strong relationship with them as well.  I also wanted to be able to give them different avenues to take to learn the different strategies, techniques, resources and tools that would help to make them be successful business builders or just satisfied customers getting the most value product/service for their money.
